The Mac mini will be the next Apple gadget to abandon USB-A, as Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported
Apple users are likely accustomed to seeing the classic rectangular USB-A ports replaced by their more slender USB-C counterparts. Even while USB-C offers benefits, users may occasionally become disoriented and run around looking for adapters as a result of the switch.
Gurman claims that this autumn, there will be a major redesign of the Mac mini, which hasn't been seen since 2010. The revised devices will come with five USB-C connectors, an Ethernet port, an HDMI connector, a headphone jack, and Apple's new M4 processor. However, the USB-A ports will disappear.
